Hiring Event - Open enrollment, stop by the park April 22nd through 26th and get interviewed on the spot from 12pm- 5pm daily.


What You Need to Know

Splish Splash is a seasonal water park and we are looking for team members who are available to work Memorial Day through Labor Day. We are looking to fill a variety of work schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Applicants must be at least 14 years of age or older for some positions, see job descriptions for specific requirements. Service with a smile and a guest friendly attitude is a MUST. You will be working outdoors throughout a variety of weather conditions. Applicants must be able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours at a time. Daily responsibilities include providing a safe environment by enforcing general park and safety rules and interacting with guests. No prior experience or training is needed; we will provide all necessary training to ensure your success.

Requirements:

LIFEGUARD (16+)

Overview:

Lifeguards actively guard all pools, activity areas, and slide attractions per Ellis and Associates ILTP license. They must complete and maintain the E&A certification that will be provided by Splish Splash Waterpark. Lifeguards are required; to continuously swim in a Front Crawl or Breaststroke (on their stomach facing forward) swim without stopping for 200 yards (183 Meters), tread water for two minutes with hands above the water, and retrieve a 10 pound (4.5 Kilogram) brick from the bottom of a pool that is up to 10 feet (3 Meters) to receive the E&A ILTP License. This includes advanced swimming skills while your head is under water. Lifeguards must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, and be in various depths of water (ranging from ankle deep to chest deep) for 30 minutes to an hour throughout the duration of their shift. Applicants must be at least 16 years old by first day of work to apply.

Additional Tasks:

• Continuously enforce all Park rules while dispatching and attending all slides and attractions.
• Providing exceptional guest service including but not limited to provide information and direction to guest as needed
• Provide a safe and clean facility by effectively managing attractions and grounds
• Provide In-Water Rescues, CPR, and/or First Aid as needed.
• Provide assistance in other departments including but not limited to Landscaping.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must have a vision of 20/25 or 20/25 corrected vision, and always wear corrective lens or lenses to assure 20/25 vision while on duty.
• Must have strong communication skills, a friendly, positive attitude, and be dedicated to customer service.
• Must be attentive to guests and knowledgeable of the property to assist them.
• Must be able to work as a team or individually
• Must be flexible and able to work where they are needed.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintaining instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Must have the ability to understand and respond to verbal instructions.
• Must have a friendly, positive attitude and be dedicated to customer service.
RIDE ATTENDANT (15+)

Overview:

Ride Attendants are required to have good communication skills and provide good continuous customer service. They will be directing guest on the proper riding positions and safety for the various rides in the park. Ride Attendants must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, and be in various depths of water (ranging from ankle deep to waist deep) for 30 minutes to an hour throughout the duration of their shift. Applicants must be 15 years old by first day of work to apply.

Additional Tasks:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide superior guest service for all our guests.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks in a safe and timely manner.
• Clean prep areas and serving areas.
• Take orders and operate point of sale system
• Assist with catered events and birthday parties
• Assist with deliveries and warehouse inventory.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide assistance to other departments as directed.
• Participate in audits and training sessions.
• Work required hours scheduled while following all labor laws.
• Communicate appropriate department, park or team related concerns to the Leadership Team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Good analytical problem solving skills.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills.
• Previous cashier experience is helpful, but not necessary.
• Previous guest related experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Role Summary:

As a concessions Team Member you would be working at various different stands throughout the park, taking order and completing transactions while serving all our guests with a smile.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take orders from guests in a timely manner
• Preparing and serving snack foods as well as completing cash or credit transactions
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Provide excellent guest service
• Communicate effectively with fellow Team Members
