Splish Splash is a seasonal water park and we are looking for team members who are available to work Memorial Day through Labor Day. We are looking to fill a variety of work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Applicants must be at least 14 years of age or older for some positions, see job descriptions for specific requirements. Service with a smile and a guest friendly attitude is a MUST. You will be working outdoors throughout a variety of weather conditions. Applicants must be able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours at a time. Daily responsibilities include providing a safe environment by enforcing general park and safety rules and interacting with guests. No prior experience or training is needed; we will provide all necessary training to ensure your success.

We will train you here at the park to be a certified Lifeguard, and the best part is.. the class is •Free! Splish Splash offers the Lifeguard Course free of charge! Lifeguards actively guard all pools, activity areas, and slide attractions. Candidate must complete and maintain the E&A (Ellis & Associates) certification that will be provided by Splish Splash Waterpark. Lifeguards are required to; continuously swim in a Front Crawl or Breaststroke (on their stomach facing forward) swim without stopping for 200 yards (183 Meters), tread water for two minutes with hands above the water, and retrieve a 10 pound (4.5 Kilogram) brick from the bottom of a pool that is up to 10 feet (3 Meters) to receive the E&A ILTP License. This includes intermediate swimming skills while your head is under water. Lifeguards must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, and be in various depths of water (ranging from ankle deep to chest deep) for 30 minutes to an hour throughout the duration of their shift. Applicants must be at least 16 years old by first day of work to apply. All candidates are expected to endure moderate inclement weather including temperature..
Ride Attendants are required to have good communication skills and provide good continuous customer service. They will be directing guest on the proper riding positions and safety for the various rides in the park. Ride Attendants must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, and be in various depths of water (ranging from ankle deep to waist deep) for 30 minutes to an hour throughout the duration of their shift. Applicants must be 15 years old by first day of work to apply. All candidates are expected to endure moderate inclement weather including temperature.
Cashiers play a pivotal role in various operations and guest experiences throughout different locations at the park. The key to a great Cashier is always having a smile on their face, being interactive and proactive with the guests, and being able to answer any questions about the park. Cashiers must be friendly, great at communication, and outgoing! Cashiers will be able to learn about different areas of the park as they will be able to work in food & beverage, admissions, parking lot, and retail.
There are a variety of restaurants located throughout the park, such as Johnny Rockets, Pink's Hot Dogs, the Snack Shack and Boardwalk. Each area requires a team of cooks to prepare the menu items. Team members will be trained on recipe and equipment specifications. Cleanliness, safety, speed, and teamwork are important parts of this position. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
Team members are responsible for accurate receiving of deliveries by unloading trucks and counting quantities to verify amounts, rotating stock, product inventories as well as delivery and stocking of remote food locations. Team members will at times encounter heavy lifting and work inside storage coolers/freezers. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Ensure smooth process of welcoming guests into the park by managing lines, checking bags, assisting with Cabana Check-In, as well as working at other turnstiles.
Applicants must have good communication skills and provide good continual customer service. The Aquatics Assistant needs to be able to sit for long periods of time and multitask throughout the entirety of the shift. A basic understanding of Two-Way Radio communication is preferred but not required. Candidate must be willing to actively discipline other staff members for minor rule violations. Applicants must be 18 years old by first day of work to apply.
EMT’s must have a valid Emergency Medical Technician Certification with the New York State Department of Health. Applicants must have good communication skills and provide good continual customer service. EMT’s will be expected to maintain a clean First Aid room and operational equipment at all times. EMT’s must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Field experience preferred but not required. Applicants must be 18 years old by first day of work to apply.
Responsible for handling cash receipts and various other duties in Cash Control.
Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving drink orders. Applicants should be comfortable with interacting with guests and completing cash or credit card transactions. Applicants will need to have a friendly, outgoing attitude while working quickly and efficiently. Must be 18 years of age or order. Gratuity can be earned in this position.
Cabana servers are responsible for waiting on private cabanas, birthday party guests, as well as working in our catering area. Throughout the day, they will take food orders, assemble and deliver the food as well as keep the cabana areas clean and stocked. Applicants must have a desire to work with guests and possess excellent customer service skills. Gratuity can be earned in this position and previous serving experience is a plus.
These team members are involved with the preparation of certain concession foods such as our fresh made fudge, the Nutty Bavarian roasted nuts, Wafles & Dinges, Beavertails fried dough, Last Chance Grill, and many more. Team members will need to have a friendly attitude while working quickly and efficiently and maintain a clean working environment throughout the day.
Games Team Members are responsible for providing the guests with a fun and exciting experience when they are playing games at various locations throughout the park. The key to a great Games Team Member is always having a smile on their face and being very interactive and proactive with the guests. Games Team Members must be friendly, full of energy, great at communication, and super outgoing!
Responsible for maintaining and ensuring cleanliness of park grounds.
Guest Services Team Members are responsible for providing superior guest service throughout the day. They should always have a smile on their face and must be comfortable dealing with guest complaints, lost items, lost children, as well as assisting guests in locker, stroller, or lifejacket rental. Guest Services Team Members must also provide accurate information on park policies and procedures to guests in person or by answering phone calls. They must be friendly, great at communication, and be able to think on their feet!
HR Assistants are responsible for helping with all things HR-related including processing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation, keeping track of uniform inventory, maintaining personnel files, and answering HR and Payroll questions from Team Members and Managers. They will also occasionally help answer phones and provide helpful, accurate information to our callers. The key to a great HR Assistant is someone who can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
The janitor position is to ensure park bathroom and changing room cleanliness.
Park Services team members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the park and providing and clean and safe environment for the guests.
Ensure smooth process in parking toll booths and directing cars. You will be the first Team Members that the guests encounter so it is important to great them with a smile and a positive attitude.
Receptionists are responsible for communicating with our guests via phone and providing them with helpful, accurate information. Receptionists will also communicate in person with our Team Members when needed. The key to a great Receptionist is someone who can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service! Receptionists must be friendly, great at communication, and be able to think on their feet!
